Holy Tongue ist eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Perkussionistin Valentina Magaletti, die unter anderem für ihre Arbeit mit Vanishing Twin, Tomaga, UUUU, Raime, Nicolas Jaar und Jandek bekannt ist, und dem Produzenten Al Wootton. Diese erste EP ist das Ergebnis einer improvisierten Session in East London. Die beiden sind stark vom Dub-Reggae beeinflusst und bringen ihre gegenseitige Wertschätzung für den experimentellen Dub von On-U-Sound, Muslimgauze und Post-Punk-Bands wie Liquid Liquid und 23 Skidoo in den Sound ein.
